TorrentReactor Users Vulnerable to Malicious Attacks
TorrentReactor.net has nested itself among the 5 most visited torrent sites on the Internet, which makes it a lucrative target for hackers and scammers. And indeed, for the second time in recent months TorrentReactor has been compromised and injected with a hidden iframe.
The iframe load a hidden page which links to all kinds of exploits and malicious downloads such as ZeUs Trojan and a Kernel-Mode Rootkit. Once compromised with these files the user’s computer is vulnerable to a wide range of attacks.
FreakBits has contacted the administrators of the site in the hopes that they will resolve the issue as soon as possible. Until then, TorrentReactor users may want to avoid the site for the time being if they’d rather not have a rootkit on their system.

Or they could just switch to linux for downloading or run their downloads in a virtual machine
And noscript with cookies turned off doesn’t hurt either.
i believe the exploits are running from the web page, not the downloads. i think it would be wiser to run the browser in a virtual machine
