			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Last week it was reported that Singpore is among the latest additions to the list of countries considering 3 Strikes-style sanctions for illicit file-sharers. <p>File-sharers in Singapore can rest easy for now, after government officials denied earlier reports that it would implement a graduated response for copyright infringement.</p>
<p>In a <a href="http://tech.yahoo.com/news/pcworld/20090824/tc_pcworld/nothreestrikeslawplannedforsingaporeagencysays">statement</a>, <span id="lw_1251141039_0">Intellectual Property Office of  Singapore</span> (IPOS) spokeswoman  Clara Wee said:</p>

<p>&#8220;IPOS is not considering the introduction of such laws at the moment. Few  countries have introduced such measures, and we will continue to monitor how  these evolve before considering any such introduction here.&#8221;</p></div>
