			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><img src="http://freakbits.com/media/tpb.jpg" align="right" alt="the pirate bay" />In June Global Gaming Factory (GGF) announced that it would acquire The Pirate Bay and turn it into a legal file-sharing site. According to the Swedish company everything is still on schedule, including the required funding.</p>
<p>What will happen to the site once GGF is the official owner is still unclear. However, GGF has scheduled a press-conference on the day of the acquisition, where they might reveal some of their future plans.</p>
<p>The press-conference will <a href="http://www.billboard.biz/bbbiz/content_display/industry/e3i019254ba53a538a311ee38be673442dc">take place</a> on August 27, only a few hours after the acquisition of The Pirate Bay will be discussed in a shareholders meeting. The company awaits the impossible task to  keep rights holders and user happy at the same time, but is confident it can do so. </p>
