Some Guy Tries To Resurrect Lily Allen Piracy Corpse
After hundreds of people disagreed with her stance and she was herself outed as a serial copyright infringer, Lily Allen took down her blog and abandoned the piracy debate. Now some guy is trying to start it back up again. Badly.
Just when you thought it was safe, some guy from a recording studio, digital defibrillator in hand, is trying to reanimate the cold corpse of the Lily Allen file-sharing debate, to re-convince the Internet “It’s still not alright….alright?”
“I have decided to pick up the helm here and now reinstate the debate to continue. It should provide the views of those opposed to file sharing. I intend to leave it online and active until further progress is made on this important issue,” writes Mark Rose from Deep Recording Studios in a press release, pointing to his new blog.
While Rose says he wants to continue the debate (to engage in argument by discussing opposing points) he doesn’t sound like he’s that keen to hear from anyone who doesn’t agree with his point of view.
“Those who agree please write your views on this blog freely. Those who don’t agree simply make a point rather than abuse this blog insulting anyone who might just disagree with the outdated experiement [sic] and management of artist and industry media assets online,” he writes confusingly.
The rest of the blog is just as muddled and weird (check out the High Street bank credit analogy), and as such is absolutely guaranteed to attract a load of abuse, mainly because it’s so damn poor. Lily Allen came out of her blog exercise with her tail between her legs, but it got her plenty of publicity and of course, that’s the main thing.

You know what, I will bet you my measly salary that the guy who made the hordeshoes for all the horses (before the great age of the automobile) probably felt the same way, sure its nice to still have a job and still feel useful, but we cant live in the past forever just cause recording studios and distribution companies want more money!

Pity this story got posted – someone might waste time reading that blog now.
Not to mention the guy also moderates EVERY comment that is being put in, which means he gets to pick the way the debate goes. That’s not a debate, that is propaganda! Good god, someone put a bullet in his head before he actually posts something worthwhile.
