I don’t believe his intentions were to deceive anyone. Having used anticrack on my suite of apps and then gone back and tried to reverse engineer them, I can tell you that the protection works. Lol, I seriously doubt anyone will be able to remove all of the methods contained within it.

I agree completely that it will not stop someone who is driven and motivated, but it will stop the scumbag script kiddie who doesn’t know tcsh from bash.

Advertising that you’re trying to make apps crack-proof only issues a challenge to the crackers. It’s /sport/ at this point.

Lol, the Anticrack guy completely rewrote his advertising now. No more does it completly stop all cracking but just “mitigates” it xD

You where right that my advertisement text was not accurate. AntiCrack aims to prevent _automatic_ cracking by means of Crackulous. And as far as I can tell it is successful in doing so.

I’ll write up my response to this article and will send you the link to cross post it on your blog.

The only thing I have an issue with is your claim:

“AntiCrack contains proven technology which completely eliminates the risk of your apps getting pirated.”

Like I said, “completely eliminates” is a very bold claim indeed and that’s what caught my eye.

That said, we’re more than happy for you to have your say here, that’s partly what this site is for.
